We are just elated to announce that our Music Director and President, Mrs. Ruth Suzuki has just been awarded Commendation by the Foreign Minister of Japan.
Years of tireless dedication to the Sakura Singers and to community was recognized by the Japanese Foreign Ministry. The Sakura Singers express our heartfelt congratulations for the conferment of such a magnitude. We are proud to share the moment of honor and rejoice in the glory of it. We are indebted to Mrs Suzuki for her dedication and leadership for the past forty-two years. Her relentless energy and devotion has been inspirational and encouraging to each one of the choir members.
